The Brembo Sprint 6-piston monoblock front caliper is a lightweight, race-derived brake upgrade that has a long history with the Dodge Viper Competition Coupe program. Weighing only 2.5 lbs, this caliper provides a significant performance upgrade over the factory 4-piston Viper front caliper while offering excellent pad selection and proven track performance.

This caliper is designed to be used with a 380mm (15-inch) front rotor upgrade. When combined with the appropriate Complete Performance Motorsports caliper bracket, it provides a substantial increase in front braking capability while retaining the factory Viper front knuckle.

Lightweight Monoblock Design

The Brembo Sprint features a rigid monoblock construction with six pistons sized 28mm / 30mm / 38mm. The caliper accepts a 22mm thick brake pad and uses the extremely popular 1980 pad shape, giving you a wide range of racing and high-performance pad compounds to choose from.

Viper Fitment & Installation

Installation is straightforward when used with the Complete Performance Motorsports Viper Big Brake Caliper Bracket Kit. The bracket system allows this Brembo Sprint caliper to be installed on the factory Viper front knuckle with no modifications to the OEM knuckle required.

Required Rotor Upgrade: This caliper is intended for use with a 380mm / 15-inch front brake rotor. The appropriate caliper bracket and 380mm rotor are required for installation.

Street & Track Day Upgrade

Although this is a race-derived Brembo caliper with roots in the Viper Competition Coupe program, it can also be an excellent choice for a street/track-day Viper. With the wide variety of pad compounds available for the 1980 pad shape, the system can be configured for aggressive track use or a more street-friendly setup.

Viper Competition Coupe History

The Brembo Sprint 6-piston caliper became a popular upgrade during the early development and racing years of the Viper Competition Coupe. As the program developed, this caliper was eventually offered as an option on the VCC build sheet, making it a genuine piece of Viper racing history as well as a highly effective brake upgrade.
